You're kidding, right?
I assume you're being sarcastic. Surely you couldn't be
ignorant enough to make such a statement and be serious
about, could you? Mac users are not nearly as sophisticated
as Windows users? Apparently you're unaware of the study
conducted by Nielsen/NetRatings that concludes that Mac
users are better educated, wealthier, and more Web savvy
than the rest of the online population. You folks in .NET
land require robust tools because Windows needs such
tools to fix it when it breaks down on a day to day basis.
Macs just work. Furthermore, this app (Konfabulator) isn't
meant to be an IT tool. It's a simple app that lets non-
programmers write some cool little programs, and, correct
me if I'm wrong, but MOST Windows users are not IT
people. Most of the widgets available are semi-useful at
best, but there are some really nice ones in there too. As
for not wanting anything without the MS seal of approval,
man, you are a glutton for punishment, aren't you? The MS
seal of approval basically means you can count on it to be
bug ridden, and that you'll spend a lot of time fighting with
it and patching it. You obviously don't realize that the best
software MS creates comes out of the MacBU. MS would
never bundle this into the "Windows eXPerience" because
this software is actually well written and won't break your
system simply by installing it. I don't know what you have
more of, ignorance or arrogance, but neither are serving
you well.
