.. Including Linux, which I did, initially hoping to migrate away from Windows. I found, *for me* (note that I speak only for myself here) that to do what I needed to do, Windows remains my only solution. I don't have to like MS's policies to use it. I simply work around it.
Staying in topic though, which I see many of you have failed to do, these applets sound like a nifty idea. In keeping with my subject tag line, I'll take a look.
