A better name
Following your idea, I think they should label it "Windows XP Full Edition of Security Holes". Seems more important to convey this issue to customers over simple things like not coming with the media player. Ofcourse, that naming convention should be used on all Windows XP versions. Or better, something like Surgeon General warnings like:

"Using this product may result in your computer being hacked or personal information lost to identity theft". I like this idea best. Just throw the sticker on all boxes of XP, media-less edition or not.
