Duh! Lets get serious, WMP is not competitive, merely bolted on!
Feature for feature, Winamp was and is better,
more powerful, prettier, and more flexible than
the current M$ dreck-ware, starting YEARS
AGO!

But the Predatory Monopolist knows you can
diminish the impact of non-Micro$hat product
by bolting on or preloading an inferior but
semi-usable equivalent. Ever try to negotiate
Internet radio channels with WMP?!? A fscking
waste of time, with or without broadband.

Winamp Version 2 has seen steady,
incremental improvements. Version 3
development was rightfully rejected by users,
despite its huge promise. Too much bloat ==
instability and slowness, Yep.

We welcome the new update. Now, if they'll do
one for MAC... (and I don't mean the rather
spartan but functional version 0.71 that's been
out there for 2 years...).
