what you fail to understand is that...
that's how it's supposed to work. open source is foundded on having a need for soemthign and making a tool to do it. many times it's because the current tool doesn't to th ejob you want int eh way you want. so you take what's already available and change it to work for you.

in the long run of things, there is very little inventing in either closed or open source really.
