I've always said that
I've always said that about Linux.

It's upgrade cycle can be so much quicker so it's evolution is 10 times that of Microsoft. So a company like Lindows just gets better and better on 3 month cyclces while Microsoft uses a 3 year cycles. Where it took Microsoft 23 years to get to this point it's take Linux half that time. Today with the internet that time is even shorter. Microsoft has it's work cut out for them. But hey MS has the marketing dollars to keep ahead for some time.
