It could be very easy to do for some or extremely difficult for others.

The OS is turning into a commodity. Software too.

I've seen more comerial proprietary software for Linux in the past year than any year previous. From games to desktop software to server software.

Linux is just getting primed. It not about the software that's the problem it's the periferal department. But they will get online next.
