I agree, but...
...please explain to me why it isn't news when Novell does something with Linux, but it is news when Microsoft entertains the idea of possibly doing something (it doesn't matter what) two or three years from now.

Yes, it's obvious Novell would do something like this. That they have done it is STILL NEWS. Get over it, Bit. Linux news, no matter how much you dislike it, is still news.
