"Customers have told us they want Oracle to buy Retek."
How many customers really care about mergers/buyouts? Isn't that money the company could spend on improving its own products? The customers of the company being bought tend to lose their platform, so I can see why they would be AGAINST a take-over. But why would Oracle customers be so in favor of such a merger?
