The claim that NetSuite is for companies that outgrow Quickbooks is defaming. We signed with NetSuite only to find that it lacked many great features of Quickbooks. For example, to do a report that does year over year quarter comparisons is a custom report. To do the same report monthly is another custom report. These custom reports are hardcoded against a date and not a generic quarter meaning you have to continuously create custom reports. Quickbooks on the other hand can accomplish this feat with only a few mouse clicks.
Also, Quickbooks is substantially quicker than NetSuite. Data entry is on the order of twice as fast meaning as you grow your business it requires more personnel.
Lastly, NetSuite has some odd behavior when scrolling through pages of reports (also very slow) at times the program will forget which page to return and sends a page from a previously run report. - Posted by: dpeterman Posted on: 03/17/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
