The laughable plight

of MS can be summarized as follows:

1) we cannot produce secure systems
2) we cannot follow international standards
3) we cannot get rid of VB (the main ... pilar on
the technological monsterpiece of Redmond)
4) we do not listen to people's complaints
5) we hope that in 2 or 3 or 5 or 7 or .... years
we will release a the 'loooooooonghorn' pc os.

6) we have to pay money left and right in
'I got your IP; you took me to courts; I gave
you money to shut up' schemes

7) we are still struggling to change
the GUIs on our office suite as we cannot
make any substantial changes.


all the while the serious companies are builting tools to leverage Java, Grid computing, or develop high-tech micro-processors, hihg-end SMPs or clusters.

In short, the entire computing world moves to the future of computing, but Redmond is just trying to patch systems that cannot be corrected by design.
