- Maybe true today...
- But not for the last 20 years. Microsoft effectively halted IBM's preloads of OS/2 back in '95 by use of threats they could ONLY make because of their monopoly position. I will grant you that this is the same IBM that effectively had a monopoly on computers a few years before that, but I'm not sure how that's relevant.
