Very strategic, should kill open source
I believe this will spend the end of open source software solutions. With a tremendous leader such as Brian Valentine now heading the Windows Core division, I don't see how the OSS community can compete. I met BrianV once at a big regional customer gathering. We spoke for a good 2 minutes or so and I told him how awesome Microsoft technology was and how we bet our entire company on it. The message was so powerful, that he turned around and said goodbye to me shortly thereafter, I had obviously moved him to tears. MY rep and I then continued to eat.
