Being that
this stripped XP edition is to help them combat the rampany piracy and the fact that, in these select markets, nearly 80% of all desktops sold with a *nix flavor are being wiped for the illegal Win, I don't think offering a 50 dollar nix OS is really the answer these particular consumers are looking for. With that said, I just ordered a older Viao and I am looking for *nix OS to install on it for my wife. I was caught between Xandros and Linspire(leaning towards Xandros). OT-Anyone use either of these? Feedback would be appreciated.
