Not a problem for Apple. Apple has the ability to replace
sub par software products from vendors like MS with far better
products of their own if necessary. I even think Apple has in it's
vault a full featurd office suite ready to step in if MS is foolish
enough to let that market go. Not only that but this product is
also in PC/Windows form, and possibly LInux as well.

In my humble opinion Apple nor Linux need fear, or it is MS who
is afraid. While Apple and Linux are showing signs of
progress...MS is searching for it's once mighty influence on the
market. Searching and in some cases flailing at the inevitable.
While I will agree that the progress of Apple and Linux has been
small compared to the size and strength of MS...still I think MS
fears even these small steps. And with LInux having the support
of such giants like IBM (who has a score to settle with MS) and
Apple being well Apple and seemingly despite all odds the
supreme survivor that she is. MS see's that while no foe can
strike MS down with a single blow.....still even a giant can be
brought down by the sting of a thousand flees.
