Lost and Forgotten
The Disney that belonged to Roy and Walt is long gone. Roy should have bowed out gracefully years ago. This is 2004 not 1954. Roy still has views from the 40's and 50's. Eisner has lead Disney for many years and the stockholders seem happy. If Roy Disney wanted more control, he should have maintained more control when he had the chance years ago. Steve Jobs did the same thing at one point and lost control of the company he created. You can't start a company and lose control of the company and expect to still be able to criticize the current CEO who seems to be leading the "new" Disney to new heights, has the support of the stockholders and the majority of the board. It's time for Roy to go...been time. Now maybe some real innovation at Disney can take place.
