If you have a Gentoo box running, no need to test SuSE. Trust me, the portage system used by Gentoo is more efficient and reliable than the rpm system used by SuSE. DOn't get me wrong, I enjoy my SuSE boxes but I have also been using it for the last few years.

Just my opinion. Now the FreeBSD, yes most definitly try that out! I have a new box I am putting together, specifically for running a FreBSD web server from.
