"American Democracy" a FALLACY
We were never constituted as a Democracy as the founders wisely understood that a Democracy is
perhaps the most disastrous form of governance
as it's essentially a "Tyranny of the masses"
which is even more relevant now than ever, as in
the case of the United Snakes we are pretty much
an intellectual superfund site. A recent study showed recent Ivy league graduates had an absolutely abbysmal knowledge of history, geography etc. as far as math and science primary and secondary school rankings, we're now in the bottom half of 3rd world African countries.
So if you ever had a Democracy vis a vi The Ross Perot electronic town hall etc, you'd have masses of mouthbreathing cretins who can't locate major continents and oceans setting international policy
we'd be invading Canada one week and then nuking
France the next. Not a real slick idea.
As Hitler said " it's a very good thing for leaders that most men do not think. " as Disraeli noted " Anyone having difficulty with the concept of infinity need only consider human ignorance "
a brief perusal of the posts on this site are dramatic illustrations of these observations.
The deal concerning morons comparing Pres. Bush
to Adolf Hitler is evidence prima facia, Thinking Bush or any other Republican is any more or less
fascist or corrupt than any of the Democcratic
leadership is idiotic, wake up and smell the coffee they're all ********, and they're just fronting for whomever writes them the biggest checks, most of the stuff that gets the mouthbreathing masses all excercized Partial birth abortion, gun control, gay marriage are just dog and pony show diversions, the real business at hand is being done in the backroom servicing the various corporate, labor etc. special interest constituencies and they continue to pull it all off because the electorate is up to date on Survivor, the super bowl, Janet Jacksons right *** and monster trucks but hasn't read an actual book since "to kill a mockingbird " in the 8th grade, less than 6% of us read with regularity
and I think that includes Gothic romances, crotch novels and comic books. Our own country is vastly
more entertaining than anything on TV.
