Greedy industry wants to have eat their cake and have it too
*EITHER* levy recording media and allow downloading...

*OR* drop the levy and outlaw downloading and sue downloaders

What the American-controlled music monopoly wants is to do is to extract money out of innocent Canadians, many of whom can't stand the current crop of scantily clad seventeen year-old screeching sluts that passes for music today, as well as charge additional money to those lacking in taste to the point where they'll buy the crud.
They've learned their lesson from Bill Gates' Windows Tax on most PCs. If people don't want to buy your product, find a way to tax them through the back door.

On October 13th, 1812 at Queenston heights, Major General Isaac Brock made the ultimate sacrifice a soldier can make, in order to save our people from American tyrrany. Let us not dis-honour his memory by giving away our freedom that he sacrificed himself to preserve.
