companies going out of business
I think I would agree withMichael Kelly,s statement about Microsoft and putting other companies out of business and it is because of that I believe we must support open source. Without it, Microsoft with a much better product would become an absolute Monopoly and we really would be up the creek without a paddle.
I Have a duel Boot system of XP and Suse 9.2.
I aquired Suse so I could learn about Linux.
I am the computer equivelant of a back yard mechanic so when I was able to load Suse and create a duel boot system just as easily as loading XP I was in Heaven ,until I tried to get on the internet and then I was totally lost.
The point of this long winded reply is that I would jump at the chance of AMD,s New technolagy so I can liturally run both OS,s at the same time on a two screen setup.
That way I have an OS running My Clock timing software and the other running my Bookkeeping software all on one machine.
I suppose it would be good for games as well
Maybe two people playing through two OS,s on one moniter.
Sorry about the lenght of my submission ,but sometimes long can be good so I hear.
