What if someone changes hardware (PC) without system?
Oh I see nobody buys such systems. Good thinking of migration to different OS. We have an obsolete hardware. SO we buy a new hardware, but it will be with OS preinstalled. So who actually pays for the OS?

Nothing is free. Do not get fooled by marketting BS.

I hope that activation with MS will work smoothly for those who go to another hardware... from competitive vendor. Otherwise it helps vendors to lock customers by the virtue of creating additional licence managment problems.
