People just hate MSFT
And for good reason. So it's natural to be negative toward them.

Funny you don't find other companies inspiring the same amount of hatred among customers and former customers. I mean, I don't like GM cars. Mainly because of a 72 Camero I owned, but it could've belonged to the mechanic for as much as I got to drive it. But I don't hate GM, just don't buy their cars.

But I hate MSFT and everything about them. I'll support their crapware for customers, but I encourage them to try OSS and other operating systems whenever the opportunity arises. I love helping someone install Linux or FreeBSD, it's fun. But not as much fun as helping a small or medium size business move. That gets me almost gushy.

And I don't feel bad about it. Between their forced upgrades, anti-competitive behavior, crapware OS, the way they jack prices on any OEM thinking about offering a different factory load of an OS, nonexistent service, the BSA, product activation, DRM, and back-stabbing EULA's. I hate working with them and won't do it unless I'm getting paid...and paid really well. MSFT sucks. As a company and that goes for their products, too.
