- Who needs debugging?

A lack of debugging is only a problem if you're using software from Microsoft or that was developed with Microsoft tools. Everyone knows that only Microsoft software has bugs or can be used to write flawed software. Scripting languages (except, of course, VBScript) are so simple they don't require debugging. The need for debugging in Java is a result of Microsoft's attempts to pollute Java. Developers using any tools but Microsoft's always write perfect software with no bugs or holes.
Obviously I'm being facetious, but it's sad that a lot of people seem to feel this way.
And why in the world would Bill Gates talk up Java, even at IBM's expense? Besides, I've never notices BG wanting to remain anonymous.
