This is amazing, all of the work IBM is doing for open source.
It will be nice when you can install Linux and out of the box, have multiple independent OSes running.

Seems to me, though, that the company that has done the most for Open Source is Microsoft. Thanks to thier monopoly, and they way they squashed competitors and abused customers, everybody in the world that understands what they are doing hates them. And, since the monopoly is so entrenched, the only way to fight it is with open source. So, without Microsoft, IBM and others would have never gone down the open source path.
