Goose and Gander Educational Market
>>> To unseat Apple from the education market they are even
giving away free hardware, which they can then write off as
a charitable donation. How do you like that? We're actually
subsidizing their predatory practices. <<<

What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander I suppose. How do you think Apple got into the Education market in the first place? They gave their hardware and software to the schools and wrote it off as a charitable donation. So it's ok for Apple but not for Microsoft? Huh, interesting.

I can remember in the 80's when my High School replaced all our Commadores with Apple's because Apple coughed everything up for free. Then in the mid-90's when everything needed upgrading, Apple wasn't about to go for a free second round and the schools went to Microsoft and asked them to beat Apple's quotes. Microsoft came through with free software for all, but the schools had to buy the hardware. It was still better and cheaper than what Apple had to offer. Apple shot itself in the foot in the education market.
