Hooray...
Microsoft is going to put countless small
businesses out of business so they can glut
themselves even more. Alright!

Surely it is MS's right to pursue other markets,
but they're never very noble about it. Their
strategy is always to crush the small guys
first. And what is Microsoft's primary weapon
for achieving their goal? Price. Always price.

What is the best database -- Oracle. What is
the best desktop -- Mac. What is the best photo
manipulation program -- Adobe Photoshop. MS
doesn't make the best products, it just sells
them for cheaper. This has been a great
strategy. All who oppose MS will be crushed by
lower prices.

Can you think of an operating system and
software that are exempt from Microsoft's tatic?
Yes indeed, Linux and OSS will beat MS at their
own game. At the end of the day, businesses
care about costs. If Linux is cheaper than
Windows, then Linux will prevail... Knowing
when to cash out all of your MS stock will be
the tricky part happy.

If SAP were smart, they would go to Linux (as
well as Windows). Companies who are leaving SAP
for MS are trying to save a buck. If you run on
Linux, you will save them more than MS can
offer.
