SAP does NOT bite
As an employee of SAP at the Walldorf, Germany, headquarters, I can easily refute what you say. All of your arguments are nonsense:
1) SAP certainly does follow the Windows GUI conventions, and my working ThinkPad is running on Windows XP Professional.
2) The help files are available in dozens of languages. If you see German, deinstall the help CD and reinstall with language ENGLISH!
3) If the SAP team that came to set it up seemed clueless, send them home and request consultants that know what they are doing. Your mistake for accepting to work with clueless people. I know a lot of very savvy consultants, and not only at SAP.
4) Where there is a will, there is a way. If you had entered the vendors you need in the SAP system, you would be able to order very quickly. This cannot be such a problem.
5) Your attitude stinks! Have a better attitude and SAP will provide you with the functions that support a well-functioning system.
SAP did not get to be the leading enterprise software vendor by accident! It took many years of hard work, and some of that work was mine.
