Re:Fedora or RHEL, who cares??
Nice troll, but it would pay you to subscribe to TechRepublic/ZDnet "Linux Alerts", and then you would be able to keep up to date. The trouble with MS-centric techs is that they tend to have blinkers on - you know, tunnel vision. Reading the Linux Alerts will help you to develop "peripheral vision" which will keep you more up to date with what is going on in the BIG BAD World outside of Redmond.

If you did keep up to date you may be more ready to acknowledge that the world will be a different place for software in 3 years - MS will be "just another software company". I suggest you print this message out and stick it on your wall so that in 3 years time, you can say, "He was right, and he sent me the message, there it is on the wall. Who would have thought."

And then you can get back to your belated study of Linux and ask the high school kid to help you once more with an understanding of "permissions". happy
