Linux is for programmers

I'm not banging your reply, but the article itself says Fedora is exactly what you feel exasperated about- a development tree for the non-development crowd who want an alternative to MS and are willing to shell() out for it. I'm amazed how afficionados of open source beat their chests at the mere mention of linux, but heaven forbid the company wants to make money. Open source pros see no problem with HP and IBM spending their horde on linux development as if they're not intending to make a profit. It's not MS at your back, its more likely the makers of the abacus.
