Dateline 20XX: The board of Apple computers today announced a major change in direction by appointing a new CEO. Fustrated with the inability of the universally acclaimed products to gain significant increases in market share over the last decade, the board decided that a change in business strategy was called for. A spokesman said "It has been decided that Apple needs a new way of doing business, we know that our product mix is right and our products themslves are loved by all who use them, it is simply a matter of finding a method of better market penetration. We have been very fortunate is acquiring the services of a retired businessman who had already built his start-up into a company of significant proportions simply through a good strategy. Mr Willam Gates will be starting on the first of April this year".
In a side story police were called in to break up a group of geo physicists led by prominent IT commentator Mr J.Spicoli. The group was protesting against the claimed "bad effects" of causing the earth to cease rotating on its axis as a result of this move.
The Apple board declined to comment on the protestors motives.
