I have a co-worker here that supports the PC's
His recent home system came with XP lite, and he HATEED it. Claimed that like Windows2000 lite things just did not work like some of his older programs and such. He put XP Pro on and things were much, much better for him...he had a similar experience with Windows2000 I think. I'm sure what you say is correct that many a user will NOT need some features of LongHorm..but is that not true of many a MS product? However many people come even close to using all tha say MS Word has for features/functions? Or MS Office in general? Yet still they are there. I don't think it would be problamatic for MS to support just one version of an OS...in fact I think it would be far easier.
