The King's lacky
...I like to ask, "what can the other OSes do for the thinking people that Windows lack?"...

Re-phrase the question and then answer that?
Nice one.

...Answer, versatility, configurability, stability, uptime....

So I take it that you don't think Windows applies?
Fine. You are answering your own question anyway.

..The problem is that to benefit from the versatility and configurability, you have to think....

But apparently this doesn't apply to windows?

...You have to understand how computers work...

To drive a car you have to know how it works, right?

..Windows doesn't even offer those choices to the end user on install....

So the everything revolves around the ability to set up partitions at install time. Now we're getting somewhere.

...Hence the thinking people would prefer Linux and the other OSes over Windows....

Ah, the old Mac syndrome coming out.
I presume Linux users are also above average in the looks department.

..
Will the world's 'thinking' index go up over the next few?
No. That is one reason Windows sells....

That's right. The stupid people are still around.

..guys like me have not fallen over the past few, either but now we have choice again and Linux user-share will keep going up....

Right. When exactly did you not have choice?
I would have thought that a thinking person would look around before bleating.
Linux User-Share might be on the up but so is Windows.

...I use the term, 'user-share,' as distinct the number of units of Windows sold, including OEM installs, is greater than the number of units in use...

That right, there's no pirated windows out there.

...You can be curious and think at the same time....

Thanks but I don't need your permission.

..Hope this helped...

If it's part of your therapy I hope so too.

Just for you I typed this as slowly as poss so you can keep up.

Thanks for the verbal regurgitation.
