Indigo and other lrpc stories
Apparently, MS 'engineers' realized that the ill-designed/developed lrpc mechanism that has been dogged by all the security problems, needed a complete re-write. Good for them and for all ms s/w users.

The question is, will the new mechanism solve the old problems and will it NOT introduce new ones? For instance, will it make cooperation with non-ms s/w problematic ? Given the lengthy ms past, this may be another attempt to replace propriatery IPC with different yet propriatery one. So that even if IE or other app s/w 'leaves' the kernel the 'favorable' connections can still remain.

Nevertheless, it must be nerve wraking to implement the replacement of the frame, plumbing and electrical networks on a building AFTER it has been put together. 'built now pay later' must have caught already so it's now the time to pay.

good luck...
