- IBM Bait and switch
- IBM talks up Linux, but when you have a problem with it, they can't help much. Their support for Linux is no better than some kid out of college. They hope that you get SO tired of the problems that you just switch to AIX. With IBM trying to sell Linux on PPC, I see their strategy now - its a LOT easier to switch you to AIX, if the hardware is PPC . . .
