- Can't make money???
-
What sort of IDIOT does it take to be incapable of making money when...
A. No effort on his/her part is required.
B. The proceeds come from previously generated material.
C. ALL the work was performed by someone else.
D. No physical product has to be manufactured or distributed.
E. You don't need to substantially share the proceeds with anybody.
F. The lackey government backs your efforts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be the BEST kind of business to be in. For the RIAA to claim they can't make money at a buck a track is PURE HOGWASH!
EVERY ARTIST should open their own website and sell tracks for a buck each...that is...assuming they can get out of their onerous contract and they have rights to their OWN material.
As a PS...when is the recording industry going to realize that it's NOT MY PROBLEM if they can't make money selling CD's or online music. They don't GET IT! - Posted by: becksdark Posted on: 12/15/03 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
