Which would be fine if you were trying to play it in a CD player...
But that person wasn't. They were trying to make an MP3 CD, which is a CD that contains MP3's. Many car stero units now play MP3s. ACC's and AIFF files are useless in this capacity. You have to have MP3 files.

Sure, ACC might be superior, but MP3 is more ubiqitous. Apple should get off it's high horse and offer MP3 files. As it stands now, you have to burn the ACC file to a disc, then re-encode it to MP3 if you want to play it in an MP3 only player. An unnecessary pain!
