Remember "I got it for a song"?
The phrase "I got it for a song" used to apply to things worth practically nothing. So what's a song worth? Apparently it's now 99 cents. Unconstrained markets are supposed to drive down prices, but when they get hold of something that's the essence of "free", the price goes UP.
