Longhorn is the "hailstorm" product from Redmond, put
into an operating system for command and control of your
desktop.

Calling the bits and pieces of vaporware that Microsoft has
released "powerful" and "elegant" is really putting lipstick
on a pig.

"The WinFS has made me so productive, I cannot imagine
life without it."

Your statement above tells me all I need to know about
your actual computer skills. Can't they hire more informed
astroturfers? Please do tell us how you use the WinFS to be
so productive? You post your drivel much faster in these
forums now?

Releasing pre-product information and alpha-ware on the
WinFS, while now selling licenses for the old FAT system is
just Redmond's way of playing both ends against each
other.

To buy into Longhorn's concepts is to capitulate your future
to Microsoft's whims and wishes. "Where do we want you to
go today?"
