Rhetoric a la Bill Gates.
Companies have learned what interoperablity with Microsoft means. It means do everything Microsoft's way.

Their way has proven to be dangerous and costly. They expect everybody to change to fit what they want. And the industry is tired of this arrogant behavior. Microsoft needs to change some things, both technology and attitude wise, before anyone is going to want to play their game.

A recent example is the anti-spam push MS tried to implement. As soon as those considering a joint effort with MS found what Microsoft's true agenda was, they all jumped off the wagon.

Microsoft's Passport is another example.

Once again, MS is lieing to the industry. They do not want interoperability. They want total control. Companies which have tried cooperating in previous ventures were soon ruined as MS stole their technologies and booted them. And then put the technology into their own code. When called for stealing IT, they bought off the players before a court battle ensued. Those who had not the resources to take their complaints to court were simply left with nothing as Microsoft pirated their technologies.

Nobody wants to play Microsoft's game anymore. And the industry is starting to realize when MS opens their mouth, only lies proceed forth.

Microsoft is the IT industries biggest enemy!
