Raymond is pretty zealous about F/OSS, true enough, and he
has a tendency to speak his mind a little more forcefully than
people outside of technology are used to. I expect he's got a big
ego. But he's also a smart guy; while I think he misapprehends
some of the dynamics of "bazaar"-model projects, I'm also
pretty sure he understands enough about human interaction to
know that sometimes the old school needs to give way to the
new.
