Growing up that is similar to what I thought.
But a very long time ago someone changed the rules. Acording to some lame-butt, self-righteous, pundit the term "Third World Nation" is nothing more than a derogatory term for "Developing Nation" but I do not know anyone from the Third World who ever objected whether they went by our definition, my old definition or the American contemporary definition.

Oh, well....
