- To my reading of history....a great many EVIL's have

been done by men/women of God. If you want to keep your
government as free from possible corruption as you can keeping
church and state seperate is a very good idea. That does NOT
mean to keep all faith and belief in a God out....just keep the
two most corruptible and prone to EVIL from every increase in
influence and power seperate makes sense. Governments and
churches through out the centuries have been great soruces of
corruptioin and evil. Don't go giving them a hand up by making
them one and the same!
