You BET I would refuse a blindfold!
"I don't get what you want!" I, as a SysAdmin, want to be notified just as soon as possible so I can do everything I can, on my end, to workaround any problem the vulnerability or flaw would cause to my systems. (Including, if I have to, taking them OFFLINE!) If I don't know about it, how am I going to be able to do anything to mitigate any problem until the vendor gets the patch out? Ignorance is NOT bliss, Roger, it's a ticking time bomb.

"Is that extra 30 days going to make or break them?" The Black Hats? Heck NO, but it COULD break ME if I don't protect my customer's systems!

"I guess you're just one of those people that can't keep a secret and has to BLAB it out the first chance they get." And I guess YOU'RE just one of those people that would KEEP a secret even when doing so would hurt someone MUCH more than it would protect someone else!
