Hey, I'll side with any mob that can write a decent OS.
Why, why why?

Some people really get up my goat when they don't even know what they're talking about.

Linux is an incredibly reliable OS. I've used it, I've tested it, I've left my systems running for weeks with it installed, running different apps, using it as a server, and not once have I lost data, had my firewalls overrun, suffered DoS attacks, or had to reboot for any reason whatsoever.

Windows XP on the other hand exists on one of my machines. It does, I grant ou, have far more stability than previous versions of the OS, but it's not a patch on Linux. Also, it has no server capability (unless you purchase the ridiculously overpriced Server family), has laughable security, requires a reboot when installing many apps, would have had backdoor access to various third parties (including MS themselves) had I not routed its net connection via my Linux box, and has on several occasions BSOD'd on me for no apparent reason.

Get this straight: A word processor should not crash when being used. A spreadsheet should not crash while being used. An Operating System should NEVER crash when a badly written program performs an "Illegal Operation". Linux never has let me down. None of the bundled apps have ever crashed during use on a Linux machine. Now there's rock solid dependability.

If that's a mob's product, I'll side with the mob.
