the last 4 years.

Linux support by Linux vendor> Oh sorry but we no longer support 2.2 but for an extra fee we can look into this problem for you.

Also chances are you are paying for support on yearly basis where you pay based on what you are using. The general rule is the older something gets the more costly support is.
