... that unix is not a modern, cutting edge OS? Cause... it kind of is. Windows sure isn't any more cutting edge that Unix is. How many processors can Windows handle? Huh? How many high-performance journaling filesystems does windows support?

Or do you define "Cutting-edge" as the "Home User's OS of choice?" Cause I can watch DVDs and TV even with knoppix running from a CD-no software to install and little configuration required. And I've scarcely found hardware in the modern day that someone hasn't written a driver for, even if it's not an official one.

Or is "Cutting-Edge" something that propells and causing industrial change, the way Unix variants introduced and stabilized the Journaling file system, cluter computing, and amazing scalability?

To be honost, I would argue Windows isn't ready for the coorporate world.
