Moving on before the other kernels are complete leaving only maintaince. He is right, everyone wants to work on the new upcoming stuff so the older stuff gets left behind. Pushing it out too soon means untested software and thats what everyone complains about MS. But in order to keep up, they have to resort to regular software practices. Linux is nothing but an upcoming MS...only they will never be as popular or successfull.
