Intel has been getting cozy with Linux for at least two years. This is just one of the first visible results of those efforts and most certainly won't be the last.

Many, many software and hardware companies are working on a Linux strategy for their products. Many more looking at Linux use on the desktop. Exciting times.

Do you hear that, No_Ax? It is the sound of inevitability. It is the sound of you becoming the last twink to move off Winblows. All the really interesting stuff in IT is happening in Linux and OSS. While MSFT continues to stagnate. Innovation would die of lonliness in Redmond. And Mr. Gates rages on in stately Xanadu. Look at what where their focus is: Patent applications. It's no wonder they can't fix their busted crapware.
