Are you refering to Microsoft SQL server ? If that is the case, this article and my reply had nothing to do with MS SQL server. It is about having PostgreSQL database on windows.

If you are talking about running any SQL server on Windows and if you think that anyone who uses any SQL server on Windows doesn't know the first thing about 24/7 uptime needed for 99.999% of the business ... I have only one thing to tell you - KEEP YOUR HEAD BURRIED IN THE SAND !
