I think they can

I originally taught myself linux with the old redhat, prior to Fedora days(5.2 to be exact). I used all the way up to the original Fedora release before i started looking at other distibutions. I have to say i enjoy the SuSe ditribution over Redhats anymore. YaST is probably the easiest thing ever to use and it does pretty much everything for you. Double that with the apt-get and the whole distribution works like a charm. Novell itself will make this work(at least in my opnion). They have a great base, and also have still to this day a large following of people who would trust their products. I also like the fact that Novell has the working very closely with NetWare, which is probably the best NOS in my opinion as well. I think they can compete and even overtake Redhat.

Remember, I list this as my opinion, not known fact. I have no foresight into the future, if I did I wouldn't be on these boards, i'd be a billionaire.
